About Us

Central Engineering Service (Direct Recruits) Association comprises of officers of Central Engineering Services who are recruited through Engineering Services Exams conducted by UPSC. The headquarters of the Association is at New Delhi. All Direct Recruits to the Central Engineering Service (Group ‘A’) shall be eligible to become members of the Association.

The association came into existence primarily with the objective of welfare of its fellow members and developing an environment where a member can feel empowered, equipped, and enlightened. The objects of the Association shall be:

To create an espirit de corps among the members.
To arrange for meeting of the members to discuss technical and other matters of general interest to the members of the association, and
To safeguard and promote the service interests of its members.

The affairs of the associations are managed by an Executive Committee consisting of a President, a Vice President, a General Secretary, three Additional Secretaries, a Treasures and nine other members.

Vision

The objectives of the "Association" shall be :

To render loyal and efficient service to the Government of India.
To promote mutual co-operation and solidarity amongst all CPWD officers in general and among CES(DR) officers in particular.
To resolve individual members’ issues related to administrative matters.
Representing and advancing the interests of the cadre by taking up various cadre related issues with the administration.
To disseminate information on establishment matters, technical matters and various other important administrative decisions.
Providing a range of platforms for the exchange of experiences and ideas between members.
To bring together members in General Assembly on an annual basis and to complement this with a range of events, meetings, and platforms.
To arrange conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, discussions, exhibitions etc. to disseminate knowledge, experience and expertise with the support of it’s members and for the benefit of the association.
To protect it’s members from social injustice, discrimination and all forms of exploitation and extend it’s helping hand and support in the hours of need.
To provide financial assistance in case of untimely death/permanent disability of any serving member of the association and to render help in rehabilitation of family of officers in such cases.
To function as an effective and efficient member association, with clear governance, strong communication links to and from members.
